How Do I Win?

Your Voice. Your Vision. Your Climate Future.

Whether you choose to work solo or collaborate with a team, create an original video that highlights the issue of climate change. We encourage a diverse range of submissions and perspectives on this vital topic. Now is your opportunity to express your creativity, craft an impactful video, and make a genuine difference.

Consider the following:

  • Move Beyond the Facts: While presenting information is essential, don’t just relay the statistics; make it personal, tell a story. Why is this issue significant to you? What actions are you taking?
  • Personal Perspective: In what ways has climate change affected your life? How are you taking action on the climate
  • Inspirational Message: Inspire Manitobans to rethink and take action in innovative ways.
  • Vision for the Future: Imagine a climate-conscious Manitoba, encompassing your lifestyle, work, food choices, clothing, and eco-friendly practices.

It could be a hopeful vision, a creative sketch, a personal reflection — or a bold reimagining of your community.

Leap into the world that could be.
Because the future isn’t written yet — but you can help shape it.

Submit your short video for a chance to be featured during Earth Month!

A panel of judges will select up to 10 finalists, and one winner will be chosen by People’s Choice — the video with the most views, likes, and shares online!

✔️ Personal point of view  — how climate change impacts YOU and fellow Manitobans
✔️ Smart, local solutions (*hint check out – our resource website below.)
✔️ Creativity and originality
✔️ Strong storytelling
✔️ Solid sound and picture quality
