The Climate Change Connection Youth Video Challenge
Are you passionate about climate change and want to make a difference? Climate Change Connection needs you! Here’s your chance to raise awareness, influence your peers, and win cash prizes.
About
The Climate Change Connection Video Challenge is an opportunity to create a 1.30 minute video reel to be premiered on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok. The more engaging your video, the higher your chances of winning.
How Do I Win?
How is climate change affecting your life and community?
What actions should Manitoba take to confront the climate crisis?
Submit your short video for a chance to be featured during Earth Month!
A panel of judges will select up to 10 finalists, and one winner will be chosen by People’s Choice — the video with the most views, likes, and shares online!

✔️ Personal stories — how climate change is impacting YOU and fellow Manitobans
✔️ Smart, local solutions (*hint check out – Manitoba’s Road to Resilience Plan)
✔️ Creativity and originality
✔️ Strong storytelling
✔️ Solid sound and picture quality
Who Can Participate?
This challenge is open to all Manitoba high school students in grades 9-12. You can sign up as an individual or as part of a group. Participants are also asked to complete a short questionaire and parental consent form with video submission. Submit your video by April 1, 2026.
Prizes
Prizes for the 2025 – 2026 Youth Video Challenge will be announced shortly.
