‘Cataclysmic day’ for oil companies sparks climate hope

A Dutch court has ordered Shell to cut carbon emissions by 45% by 2030. Also this week, climate activist investors have shaken up the boards of ExxonMobil and Chevron. A few weeks ago, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66, had already suffered investor revolts over climate inaction.

Airships for city hops could cut flying’s CO2 emissions by 90%

Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) in the UK has named a string of routes it hopes to serve by airship starting in 2025. Although most of these routes are in Europe, the article includes mention of a Vancouver to Seattle leg.
